I still think he will play an important role this season.
Sometimes the inner demons are harder to overcome than a good defense.Agree with all of the above. However this plays out for him, I think he still has another level that we haven't seen and may never see in an OU uniform. He may be a jerk, (I don't know that) but a lot of jerks have had very successful college and pro careers. It's possible he hasn't handled those pressures very well but I have to think we still haven't seen the real Spencer Rattler the football player, and he's trying too hard now to show the college football world and NFL that they were not wrong about him. Spencer Rattler may not be everyone's cup of tea and after Saturday's performance by Williams he may not even be a starting QB, but in his defense, I try to imagine the pressure on a young person trying to fulfill un-realistic expectations on a stage like OU.
